Retirement Savings Plan
Below are plan related documents and notices to help you better understand your Graham Retirement Savings Plan. As a reminder, at Graham Packaging we know that getting started saving for retirement can be the hardest part, which is why we automatically set your savings rate once you become eligible, unless you elect otherwise, and offer personalized retirement planning advice, through a program with Edelman Financial Engines to help you reach your goals.
However, there are still a couple of things you need to do to help make sure your account is in order:
- Secure your account at principal.com/login. By enabling 2-factor authentication, you can help prevent cybercriminals from accessing your account.
- Designate a beneficiary at principal.com/beneficiary
Remember, you can make changes to your beneficiary(ies), contribution or investment options any time. Click here to log in to your account with Principal® or download the Principal® app by visiting principal.com/OnTheGo or searching for it on Google Play and the Apple App store.

Stretch Your Contributions to Maximize the Company Match!
The IRS limits how much you can contribute to your 401(k) each year. Once you reach this limit, your contributions and the company match are paused for the remainder of the year. To avoid missing out on the company match, consider spreading your contributions throughout the year. This will prevent you from reaching the IRS limit early in the year and still enable you to contribute the maximum allowed while taking full advantage of the company match.
Use this worksheet to calculate a contribution rate that will help you save up to the IRS limit while taking full advantage of the company match. Note if you’re age 50 and above: contributions will automatically continue until you reach the combined regular + catch up contribution limit set by the IRS.
